To end our week long celebration poetry we held a wonderful poetry event afterschool in the library on National Poetry Day.
Students from the BookClubs and Miss Houlahan’s form class read some poems on the theme of counting and then everyone tried doing some BlackOut Poetry. Mrs McArdle and Mrs Mckenna even got involved. Thank you to Mrs McVeigh for helping with the snacks and taking the photos. Some examples of the BlackOut poetry is on display in the library.
