Golf

Year 8 boys and girls have recently experienced Golf Taster Days. They visited Kelly’s driving range, learning the basics of Golf from our Year 14 pupil Natasha, Mrs Fox, Mr McStay and Mr Devlin. After hitting buckets of balls, they headed for lunch in Warrenpoint Golf Club and had practice and putting tips from the Club Professional Kevin McGivern, finishing off with a putting competition. Mr McStay presented each pupil with a Taylor Made Golf ball and thanked them for all their fundraising efforts for the Southern Area Hospice to date. A great day of Golf and all the pupils are now aspiring to be the next Pro Golfer as they all really enjoyed their sessions. Well done to all participants
