LMC Cookery Demonstration gets taste buds tingling
On Thursday 21stFebruary, Margaret Anderson from the Livestock and Meat Commission visited St Patrick’s. Margaret provided a cookery demonstration for Year 10 Home Economics students. Students had the opportunity to learn about the Livestock and Meat Commission, the benefits of red meat and simple ways of including meat in the diet. At the end of the event pupils were offered the chance to sample mozzarella meatballs with tomato and bacon and beef stir fry. The students thoroughly enjoyed the cookery demonstration.
